the room, same night, ten minutes later. nobody in it, which is normal.
i open at four. the sign says eleven, but the sign came with the building and i am not climbing up there.
the phone rings maybe six times a night. two of those are the same guy checking whether we still exist. we do. i tell him we do. he says ok and hangs up and i respect that.
i take the order, i make the order, i drive the order over, i come back, i take the next one. there is nobody else on the schedule and there has not been since summer.

how long for delivery?thirty minutes if the scooter starts on the first try. it did not, once, in march, and i am still hearing about it.

do you deliver to the west end?yes. it means the bridge, and the bridge is slow, and i will still be polite when i get there.
